fwiw ive got about 15k km on my procomp 6" stage one lift, with 37's no wobble or issues, rides great, i regularily do medium trail riding, no issues. also cheap from 4wheel parts, look for sales, save a few hundred.

When I installed the 6" procomp stage 2 suspension lift on my truck, the ride was better than factory. When I later added the 3" performance accessories body lift, the ride became considerably stiff. If you dont mind a more stiff ride, the body lift will be cheaper, and easier to install.Keep in mind, your tailpipes will hang 3" lower than the factory cutouts in the rear bumper.A trip to the exhaust shop can fix that though.

Just curious - Since a body lift changes none of the suspension components why do you say that a body lift will result in a stiffer ride?

Because 3" long pieces of nylon/fiber bushings are installed between the frame and and cab,as well as the bed. Therefore the rebound/cushion is decreased were the factory bushings are rubber. This results in a stiffer ride.

The exhaust is an easy fix, but I have a hitch on mine that will hang down. So I'm not sure if that would be an easy fix or fixable at all. I didn't look closely at it yet. Just picked the truck up 2 weeks ago and spent last weekend pulling inner wheel wells down and undercoating everything. Here in PA we love our road salt!!!!!

Hi rcsbhemi, how long ago did you installed your 3" lift and body lift? Any effects on the ride? Have you used 4x4 since the lift? I've read countless forums where people have had wobble problems after installing a leveling kit and when they took it back off the problem went away. They possibly ruined their front cv joints. I only want about a 3" total lift on this truck and a ride close to factory, it's my daily driver. I have another truck with a 8" lift for playing serious off road and jarring my bones.
