Default Tires - reviews and prices

So, I'm in the market for some new tires and need some advice. I have a 2010 quad cab sport with the Mopar 2" spacer kit up front, so I can go a little bigger than stock. Looking for an all terrain type tread. I really like the BFG's, but not their price tag.

When posting, please include tire size, amount you paid, and where you got em from.

Thank you in advance!

look at tire rack. with your leveling kit you will be able to run a 275/65r20 which is going to be same width as stock but about an inch taller. We have had good luck with the goodyear wrangler at/s tires in the past. I would put them ahead of the bfg's.

I just ordered some tires through a friend who also owns a Mechanics shop down the road from where I live. I ordered the Bridgestone Dueler A/Ts 285/70/17 (33" on a 17" rim) for $160 per tire. He's selling them to me for the price he could get them for. They should be in on Thursday and I will take some pics of what it looks like and how it rides.

So, for the 275/65/20 size, is my math correct that the overall height should be ~ 34" tall? I like the prices at this size, and are more in line with what I'm willing to pay. I tried to look for 285/70/20 tires, but can't seem to find anything. I imagine the rim size is what is throwing it off. The 20" rim size is what is really driving up the cost.

Anyone have a pic of a 275/65/20 on a their truck?

I've also been looking at 35x12.5x20 tires, but the costs are just more than I can justify for something I'll be replacing in another year or so. Anyone know of any decent tires at this size that are under $250-$300 a tire?

I have a set of Goodyear Wrangler Dura Tracs, size 315/70R17. I got them for $223 / tire at Discount Tire Company (actual store, not the website - might be one near you depending on where you live, check discounttire.com). I went down to a 17" wheel, because the price per tire drops significantly once you get below a 18" wheel. Plus they gave me $60 for each of my stock wheels, so I was able to get the DuraTracs (which are a bad *** tire - like a aggressive all terrain) and a new set of 17" wheels for less than what it was going to cost me just for the tires in a size 20".
