Default Moisture on inside front window??

For some reason I am getting a lot of moisture on the inside of the windshield in the mornings after it sits overnight outside. I don't have any water leaks that I'm aware of letting water in. Really baffling. I have to wipe down the inside with a dry cloth almost every morning. Now its starting to get colder so it is starting to freeze on the inside. Anybody else have this issue? Most cars have a little, like my previous F-150, but this is over the top. Becoming a real annoyance.

When did it start?

Just a guess... Given you are in CA with all the rain recently your 3rd brake light or sirius antenna leaked, your headliner is wet and the sun in the am creates condensation.

Yeah, I thought of that right off because I had my 3rd brake light leak in my previous F-150. Actually it started before all the rain. I have looked at the headliner and all around in back and nothing is wet or even damp. No leaks that I can find anywhere. Really odd.

i am having the same problem... my truck did not have any issues when i was in south carolina, however since i move to Italy i get huge condensation and ice on the inside of the windshield. use my auto start in the mornings and when i get in the dash is wet and there is water all on the inside of the windshield.. really pisses me off that i have to keep paper towels in the cab to wipe the windshield off before i drive.

I think there is a problem with the design or the sealants around the duct system in these trucks but not sure. Yours could be a number of possibilities, but I would first check to make sure that your AC drain plug is not clogged up. If it is not draining properly, maybe it is leaking into your truck. And then I would check for wet carpet areas around the front floor board especially on the passenger side. Something is definitely wet in your truck...you just have to find it and then the source. Also, if you do have a leak up top somewhere, maybe it's not big enough to get the headliner wet and is running down the door post or upper frame somewhere. Make sure you feel your headliner along the passenger side back and front very thoroughly for water...maybe you just can't see it but may feel it, it's got to be there somewhere. EDIT: You should probably check your tool bin and storage areas for water as well. I don't have any in my truck so I don't know what they look like or if they can get wet...it's just a thought.

I'll certainly look again but I just vacummed it out the other day and everything, including all carpets, was bone dry. Also left the back windows open an inch or so for a day (partly sunny and no rain that day) to let any moisture out. With no rain that night, still did the moisture thing in the inside of the front windshield the next morning. I agree that moisture has to be coming from somewhere inside the cab, just can't find any. Guess I'll just keep looking - real pain in the *** having to wipe down the front window every morning (and I change cloths each day so a dry one is in the cab overnight).

Another option would be fog-x.

I had to use it all the time in my old VW Baja with no heat.
