Default Anyone Swiss cheesed their stock intake yet or installed a forced air tube?

Hey guys I have been looking into getting a CIA for my 2010 Hemi but from what ive heard they already have a pretty good design and a lot of guys say to just throw a drop in high flow filter in there. I was thinking about cutting a hole in the bottom of the air box and running some pvc to the bumper to create some “forced” air flow. Then I came across the “Swiss cheese mod” where you drill about 10 1” holes in the dirty side of your air box to allow for more air flow. I was wondering if anyone has done this before or done the home made forced air tube. Any and all ideas are welcome as well as pics. Thanks for the help in advance!!

I'm curious about this Swiss cheese method too.

How much "boost" or increased airflow do you think you can get by running a pipe from your front bumper to the air box at 30mph, 50mph, 70 mph?

Doesn't the swiss cheese method cancel out the stock cold air intake?

Man, I did that years ago on my '85 GTI and my '92 GTI 16V. Back then, the fuel injection unit sat on top of the airbox. There was no way to do a CAI. I drilled all sorts of holes in that sucker and put it a K&N filter. It rocked and the sound was awesome.

I hope water doesn't splash up through the holes and dampen your filters.Seems like it would work well,as long as the roads are dry.
