Mine is a 2010 Hemi QC Sport
Brand new off the lot, steering wheel dead center, but pulled right pretty hard.
Did alignment same day, steering wheel still dead-nuts straight, no pull, drives good.
"Toe-in" was out of spec pretty bad. Caster & camber were dead on from the factory.

Just my 2cents.... for those with left/right steering wheel issues.
Dont ever let ANY stealership tell you that a steering wheel cant be straightend, because it can...!
The steering wheel has to be locked down in the "center" position, then they adjust the "toe" spec`s of your truck on the alignment machine.
I`ve done alignments for 30+yrs and i know they are wrong to tell you its normal to have a wheel that isnt centered, so tell your dealer they`re full of bullshiit and to FIX IT...!!!!!!!!!!

Well not with this truck but with my 03 Durango I had several alignments and balances and rotations later and still a pull and vibration I went to my favourite alignment shop and paid 129 for alignment and 4 wheel balance...one wheel had no weights and was off so bad they moved the tire on the rim and were considering a new tire but they managed to get it and they off center wheel and pull were fix with alignment. Went back to dealer took expressway, no vibration at anyspeed, and I could let go of the wheel any speed. Went to my original salesman and explained to him and asked if this is the service I get under warranty what can I expect when I actually have to pay for something. He took the bill and went to service showed them all the recent activity in the computer they have done and the one receipt from the alignment shop. One tech did not believe it he was convinced the vibration was one of those things you have to live with, I said not on my vehicle! So I took him for a ride, I think he had to change his underwear because although I drive with hand controls I can still be wreckless, figured he needed a waking up. So he was the one working on it all the time...I don't see him there anymore never asked any questions either. I got 10 free oil changes only got to use 6 before I sold it ****** would not let me keep the other 4 cuz I didnt have the Durango but I did buy 2 new vehicles...........

Yes.If you move the steering wheel it screws with lock to lock steering radius.Steering wheel is never suppose to be moved off dots to center it. Even tho I might not agree but if you look at shop manuals they will or did for decades say that a steering wheel as far as the 11 o'clock or 1 o'clock position is allowed. A tire can and does frequently make steering wheels off center. Moving it or replacing it is the only to get wheel to center.

Any self respecting alignment man can and will center your steering wheel. I had a Chrysler Concorde and the steering wheel would sometimes center and other times didn't. I took it in for an alignment check after I checked all that I could. After the guy put it on the rack he called me back and showed me that the alignment was out and also the rack bushings were worn. He said he would try his best to center the wheel and that the bushings were easily replaced. He aligned the car and on the way home I stopped by the dealer and picked up the new bushings. I installed them the next day and when I got done the steering wheel was dead center. If this guy could guess at it with bad bushings and get it perfect theres no excuse on a brand new vehicle.
