Well I have the holes back there. I always wondered if I was supposed to have them or not. I guess I just never cared enough to call the dealership. I'm sure it's too late now. I've had the truck for almost a year.
As others have said, they're suppose to be there. They're required by law for rear impact, since some time since 1993 or so.

It can't hurt to call and find out. Since it is a safety issue the dealer might not want the liability hanging over his head if you tell him you never got the headrests.

Yeah good point. I guess I'll give them a call and see what they say. I bought it through AAFES Car Sales though, which is a military deal where you basically build your truck and they ship it to you. So I don't know if that makes a difference. I didn't actually buy it from the dealership, I just picked it up from them.
