Default Rear Seat Headrests

I noticed the 2011 headrests for the rear seats are actually larger than those found in the 2009 and 2010... I think I actually like the idea of getting some as I think itd be more comfortable in the back seat that way, is the part number the same?

Does anyone have pics of their rear seat, and also would anyone be willing to trade two shorter dark slate headrests for two taller ones??

Thanks

Mark

I'd rather have an unobstructed view out the back window. I removed my center head rest and have a better view in the mirror. For safety I would put it back in if I had three sitting in the back.

Took all 3 off and stowed them under the seat. Put 'em back in for backseaters.

Mine didn't even come with headrests in the back. This is probably a dumb question, but do they come standard in all trucks?

Good question. I guess it could be trim level dependant. Look at the seat to see if the mounting holes are there. Mounting holes = dealer owes you some headrests. No mounting holes = no headrests.

Your SLT should have had them - actually all tucks should have had them. Its considered a safety item, not an option.

That is what you are supposed to use your side mirrors for.

Well I have the holes back there. I always wondered if I was supposed to have them or not. I guess I just never cared enough to call the dealership. I'm sure it's too late now. I've had the truck for almost a year.

I only have two of the smaller variety in my '09 Sport. Left and right. Nothing in the middle. No holes in the middle either.

I'd go back the the dealer anyway. It doesn't hurt to ask for them if they should have been there.
