Default what makes the trx different

particularly the 2500? I know it has heavy duty shocks, and something about how they mount, but can someone explain in layman's terms?

every lift I've found fits all but trx's, so I want to know why not ontop of what makes my truck so different. not to mention plenty of guys are running 35's no problems, i threw 34's on and got horrible instant rubbing.

thanks ahead of time

Simply put it is Dodge's version of the Z71/off road truck.

Do you have the TRX or TRX4? No way the TRX would clear 35's.

The front shocks have a different preload, making the front end sit higher. At least on the 1500.... Your 2500 body is heavier and may be causing it to ride lower. Another thing is that you should be looking for lift kits for the 2500, i havent seen any remarks about not running on a TRX4.

As far as the 1500 is concerned. BDS with 5" rear spring and Superlift/Mopar with extra parts will fit a TRX4. Any other kit would work if you replace the front struts with a stock setup or the Bilstein adjustable set at stock height.

You have a 2500. The Mopar kit will not work for you. You have leafs in the rear... All the kits i looked at for the 2500 did not differentiate between the TRX4.

Check out TruckToyzPreformance

oh... I thought you were referring to suspension lift kits..
Thats a leveling kit and your TRX4 is already equipped with a "leveling kit" from the factory. This spacer will put strain on your CV's so it's not recommended by the manufacturer. You could always put it on and then check for 4wd shudder and premature cv wear. If you dont have any issues, keep it on

i gotta admit, im dissappointed with my trucks height. It sits way lower than a ford f-250, and I even had a 150 pull up next to me the other day sitting equal, and i dont think he was lifted at all, as he was riding on stock wheels. My truck also rides rough as hell over bumps.

Id love to get the front up 2" maybe even just 1, but dont want to do anything to screw with the warranty.
