Default Lift kit installed!

Hey guys,

Got my 2.5" spacer lift installed yesterday. Cost me $150 for the kit and I got it put on for $200 and $40 for the alignment. I like the way it sits a little higher now.

Yea I'm thinking I should've waited to buy new tires after I got the lift put on. My wife thinks it looks "gay" with the gaps in the wheel wells. So I should've went with some 35's but I don't want to push it with my 3.55 gear ratio. Pretty sure I'm already pushing it with 33's. I really don't want to regear as I don't really see a need to right now. I just want to put a locker in the rear.

have you had it in 4 wheel drive yet? do you have any of the shutter issues if not your one of the lucky ones. keep us posted i think the 33'' look nice alittle space in the fenders makes it look bigger my .02 cents

I just drove it around the block in 4WD at speeds of up to 40 mph and have not noticed any shutter. I will keep you posted if it comes up.

The stock 20s are 33" tires so no worries about the 3.55.

yous hould rephrase that to "leveling kit installed", it is a bit misleading, leveling kits and lift kits are not the same thing.

Incorrect. I bought the LIFT, not the level. 2.5" in the front and 2" in the rear which pretty much makes it level for a CC since they already mostly sit level.
