Default my 2500 trx with hid fogs

installed an HID extra kit, thats now having problems. passenger light decides to randomly not come on every once in a while. checked everything, everythings good.

anyways, 5000K kit (still a little dissappointed on the bluish tint) but otherwise a great upgrade and actually outshine the headlights as far as distance is concerned.

I did 3000K fogs from hidextra.............love 'em and no issues. You should have them send you another ballast.

It amazes me that people dont realize that the "blue" color hue cancels lighting distances.
Also, are you useing the stock foglight housings along with the HID foglights...????
Kinda looks that way with all the glare and shadowing that i see in the pics.

Do foglight "projector" housings exist for this truck?

no, they make some real ricey ones for 3rd gens. plus you dont want projectors for fogs as fogs are supposed to flood right infront of the vehicle, projectors would more than likely eliminate alot of that, and have a more focused beam, which I cant say I would want for my fogs

Yeah, that's kinda what I thought, thanks.

My comment was mostly because I was unsure about HEMI5150's comment about not using the stock foglight housings with HID's, and thought maybe he knows something that I don't...
