No front tow hooks on 2010 Ram 1500
I have a 2010 Ram 1500 quad 4x4 hemi with Bighorn package - from what I have read online, there should have been 2 front tow hooks on this truck but when I look under the front bumper there is just a black plastic insert down in the lower area of the bumper (reference: http://www.allpar.com/model/ram/2009-ram.html). I could have sworn my last Ram with the same options & package, which was a 2006 model, did have 2 front tow hooks. What is going on now? Did Dodge do away with the front tow hooks on the 4G Ram, or did I just get ripped off in not getting them, particularly with the Bighorn package? Signed, Confused about no front tow hooks. (thanks for any help explaining this)
This is what Dodge lists for the 2010 Bighorn contents on a quad cab:

If it's not on your window sticker its not on the truck.
You really have to look at the truck and make sure every is there,
I have seen dealers add stuff to the window sticker but not put it on the truck.
You could ask the parts department for the build sheet for you truck and if they are on the sheet, then bring it up to the dealer. My guess would be they aren't going to do anything about it but its worth a shot.

How wonderful is the Dodge Parts Department.
You could have gotten tow hooks and skid plates istalled as an option with the "protection package" for a $150 option with the truck new, or you can pay over $300 for just the parts from the parts department and spend a few hours or a few (hundred) dollars for the dealership to install them.
I bought my truck in a pinch and the sales man (idiot) said that i could not get tow hooks with the Laramie Package. should have done my home work

i think the only package that comes with tow hooks is the off road package.
i love the guys who come into the dealership where i work who realize that their truck didn't come with a posi in the rear and want one installed for the $175 it's listed on as additional cost on the sticker of the trucks on the lot that have the option.
