i love the guys who come into the dealership where i work who realize that their truck didn't come with a posi in the rear and want one installed for the $175 it's listed on as additional cost on the sticker of the trucks on the lot that have the option.

Definitely called "protection" package or maybe protection group.
I love the guys at the dodge dealership who don't know anything about the truck they sold me.

I checked by Build Sheet and in my options listing I have both the protection package and the tow hooks listed... not sure if this is redundant but the tow hooks are for sure an option.

Well then my friend, you've got got. I would look under the truck to see if the skid plates are missing too. If they're there, cool. If not, then they owe you two tow hooks and two skid plates. I wish I had pictures, but I'm deployed right now. I think one skid plate is for your oil pan and the other is maybe for the tranny? I can't remember. Either way, you should know if you have them or not once you look under your truck. If it's on the build sheet, they owe it to you.
