I did the same thing, I brought it to the dealership and they flushed out the entire system. They told me that the washerfluid was acidic and that it would do harm over time. In every car and stone carriage since the beginning of time the cap was always blue why would they be stupid enough to put two caps of the same color and then make the container that holds the fluid black.

 

I guess dodge assumed that if you see two caps of the same colour you would have to read the CLEARLY MARKED LOGOS on either one to determine what is in them. Silly them!

 

First of all you can only view the picture not read them, you can't read a picture. Maybe you better mark yours before you f it up. Silly you!!!

 

My wife did the same thing sunday. I just siphoned off till if was completely red, took out about 4l that she put in. And I am not going to worry about it to much. It is poor design to put identical shape and colour covers under the hood.

 

Hell, I thought with this kind of screw up I thought you were the wife! Sorry, could not help it and I am only joking with you... I have not made this mistake... yet!

 

Guess I'll mark mine with black marker or I'll do the same thing. Interesting how you can't figure out what goes to what anymore under the hood. And to think that once, as a teenager many many years ago, me and my buddy changed out a cam to one with a big lope just to cruise the local strip and be cool one Saturday night. We put the other one back in the next day. Life was simple then.
