$400 for a tuner to fully disable the MDS,
orrrrrrrrrrrr, just drop it into 5th gear costs you nothing to shut off the MDS while driving in slower speeds.
When you get back up to highway speeds, kick the OD back on and allow the MDS to do what its supposed to do...save gas

Probably an O2 sensor problem and not related to MDS. I am pretty sure if any engine problem pops up ECO mode will not function.
