If you cant determine the distance from an object when you are parking then you have no business driving. And as far as hitting a deer with this then forget about it, it will not withstand that. It is fairly sturdy but not "hit a deer at 60 mph" sturdy.

Your probably looking for a 1500$ heavy duty front bumber, then you can go hit deer and moose. I would say bull bar is more for looks, then you can put some lights on it and see the deer coming and wont have to hit it. Im probably gonna get a black westin.
