I am a new member from azo Mi , i have a problem on my 2009 DR 1500 , the blower motor just shuts down and then restarts , i also noticed a small drop of a tar like substance on my floor mat that had dripped down off of some wiring , took it to my dealer and he said the wiring was rubbing together and they fixed it , but it is still doing it , any ideas out there . And a big thanks to all members for letting me vent .

i had the same issue before it stopped working all together. the dealer said it was the capacitor but they replaced the entire assembly (motor and capacitor).
back to normal now.
