Default exhaust/warranty

I am wanting to upgrade my exhaust, and i was just wanting to know if this would void my warranty. I am thinking about getting flowmaster installed, or just remove the muffler? thanks for all help.

It will void the part that warrants the exhaust should something happen to the stock mufler/piping, not the whole warranty of the truck.

thanks for the help, im gonna contact my dealer in the morning and ask. As far as mods go im going to start with the exhaust, then im going to get black step bars, and a black toolbox in a couple weeks. also im wanting to get a leveling or lift kit this summer, as well as a set of black and polished wheels. Does this sound like a good combination of colors, btw my truck is a silver qc 4x4. thanks again

well i got my exhaust today, and it sounds awesome. I went with flowmaster, it is super aggressive sounding and reccomend it to anyone wanting to upgrade. For anyone with the warranty question i had, the dealer said as long as you dont remove the cats the warranty will be fine. I just wanted to say thanks for the help.

Skip the flowmaster... they sound ok, but quality and flow not so much. Look into the Aero turbine mufflers. More will be achieved fixing flow problem areas in the stock exhaust, then just adding a muffler. There are at least 3 major problems in the stock exhaust design.

Ok, so lets see your proof of this claim about 3 major problems w/stk mopar exhaust.
You didnt even mention which stock exhaust system you`re talking about.

Some people dont really care about the flow, they`re just lookin for sound.
Besides that, do you really think most people care if it add`s or loose`s a few hp...?
I guarantee that 95% of the truck owners couldnt tell the difference anyway...most just want the louder sound.
