I was running a large truck box on my truck and I was rather happy with it.

Kept a pretty nice amount of tools and stuff locked up. I do rock racing and crawling and like to load up the night before. Which leaves my poor truck with a bunch of gear in the bed or having to lock a bunch of smelly gear in my truck. I've never had problems before but someone stole an ice chest and two fuel cans out of my truck bed. Stealing my racing cans was just dirty. At 4am you aren't going to find a new racing can. So I decided on more lockable storage. I thought about a diamondback but most of my stuff is too tall. I liked that you can park a 4 wheeler on it or stack and strap crap down on it. So I started shopping truck caps. I wanted a roof rack that was removable. No higher than cab high. Side windows that open to reach in. Found a local dealer that I liked and ordered one up. I originally orderd the side windows that split and vented but ARE said they wouldn't garrentee a waterproof seal. So, I just got the ones that open.

Likes:
It's sleek and looks good.
Side windows open and give good access.
Has a light.
Has a high brake light.
Everything locks.
Removes with 4 bolts and a friend.(or my little shop winch I bought)

Dislikes:
They didn't offer an on when open switch for the light.
They kind of cheaped out with the way the back glass closes and made a fiberglass deck extension that closes over the tailgate. You can pretty easily just pull the tailgate open when the glass is locked. I didn't yank on it hard enough to break something, but it seems unlikely that it would keep the tailgate closed.
Price was high. Not that any of them were cheap.
The powder coat or paint on the latches is sub par and I'll probably bring it back.
The dealer should have offered me the air boot.

I don't like caps, but I see the need for them. It looks great on your truck though. One warning that I am sure you already know about. I had a cap with the side windows that open up just like yours do, so just watch your belt buckle. When reaching in the truck from the side your belt buckle is gonna put scratches on the side of the truck. I know. Good thing about silver is that you won't notice them as much. Unlike my black truck....

When you order it, they take the vin from your truck and color match it and guarantee the match.

Though they ordered it, it came in, the color was perfect, and the cap was for a dakota the first time.

I'm a slob, I only tuck my shirt in for court. Good advice though.
