leveling kit and 33's

haven't taken any pics since the install never had a chance to shine her up since first of winter but it sits up nice. i put the kit in the back too to make it sit level. with the tires. i will put up pics when i get it shined up. i had it beside a buddy's ram that is stock and it's about 5 inches higher than his was. can't go by milage till summer comes cause i always let my truck warm up in the winter and ya never get good milage i would say it is down a bit but it better than my ford was

Because of the aggressiveness of the Toyo MT's I would go with the 275's if you don't want to put on spacers or get a negative offset wheel.
I put 305/55/20 Nitto Trail Grapplers on with 20x9 wheel with +18 offset and they rubbed the control arm. I think it only rubbed because of the awesome looking but aggressive side lugs. I think a 285/65 or 285/60 would be a nice tire for stock wheels.
Also, I have a 2.5/1.5 level kit- just my thoughts from my experiences.

I first started off with a readylift 2.5" leveling kit and put 35" Nitto trail grapplers and had to get spacers for the front. But then went for a drive, put the truck in 4wd and sure enough i had a pretty bad wobble. It was ok in 2wd but i couldnt live knowing my brand new truck would shake in 4wd. So took that off and put a ProComp 6" lift and never had a problem since. Just my 2 cents. I was like you told myself id just try it hoping it wouldnt wobble, because i had read about it but im too dumb so i pay for it, with a six inch lift. Do it right the first time!

Hey thanks once you start customizing you cant stop. After i put the lift and tires the mileage dropped quite a bit, cant give you an exact number but definately not better, but i was aware of that buying a hemi hehe. As for the 3.55 its really crappy, i need 4.56 as i do a lot of towing. I towed a 26' camper about 3000 kms one trip last summer and definately didnt like the experience. The tranny kept going to overdrive and had to manual shift alot to try and keep the tranny cool. im getting a bigger tranny cooler next. Then the gears.

Well, I bit the bullet tonight and purchased the HBS 2" level and BFG AT 285/65/20 tires to go with it....hopefully no vibration issues.....I'll post before and after pics if I can figure out how to....I made it 6700miles on this baby before the mods started....it's all downhill from here!!! Thanks for all the helpful info, although my wife isn't thanking anyone!

hey there, i'm about to attempt to run the same setup you started with. i just have the rims and tires to get yet. i was just wondering when you had your 2.5 level on were your 35's on the XD rims or stock ones. also wondering what your rim offset and backspacing is on the XD 's and if there was any rubbing issues with just the level lift on, and how much they stick out. same as everyone else hoping this setup works on my truck and if not i'll get a real lift lol. thanks
My truck stock
With the leveling kit stock tires
With the leveling kit and monsters and nittos
And now what my truck is like now with the lift kit
