Installing HID reverse lights
led reverse lights are the biggest waste of money imo...my buddy got the $60-$70 bulbs from some company that have absolutely horrible output. he has since switched back to regular halogens. but to each there own...some of you may have had better more promising experiences.
why HID reverse lights? why not? same reason you put HID's in your headlights or foglights. Greater output, greater safety, greater BAMFism
Aside from just backing up with them, you can wire them to an alternate switch giving you the "tailgater" option. (jackass gets on your a$$...give him a little sunburn if you catch my drift)
since its 15 degrees
out currently, I'm probably gonna wait till this afternoon to start messing around with them.

Welp I started playing around with it...had an extra set of H1's in my cabinet I forgot aboout. Took out the tailight, unplugged everything and went into my cozy garage. H1's arent too bad...but I wanna wait for the H3's I ordered before I start grinding.
I'll keep you all updated.
I figure since Im going to order the LED tails it doesnt really matter what happens to the stockers. Pictures soon.

I bought the sylvania silverstar ultra bulbs for the reverse lights and they're a lot brighter. HID's are a little extreme, if you ask me. If you're looking for a cheap solution, try the sylvania bulbs. Best thing is, your local parts store should carry them.
