Nope, didn't do anything special. You have to tilt the seat back to get them out since they hit the ceiling otherwise. I just turned them so the part that should face backwards now faces forwards and put them back where they came out. Took just a few seconds. It's slightly awkward since you have to push in on the lock ring while pulling the headrest out of the seat.
