Keep your 1500. Had an '05 2500 with the 5.9L Cummins. Loved the power but my '11 HEMI is better on gas and hoping it's better on service

Honestly If I was you I'd check craigslist and gov auctions for a cheap "tanker"...wont have any wear on your ram, would probably pay for itself if you hauled some loads for other people, rams werent made to tow water...tankers were. Just my .02

call me an a$$ but i call myself a dreamer bahah

city of calgary auctions off thier used equipment every two to three years, Edmonton the same, Alberta govrenment website has links to BC, Sask and manitoba as well, You can get water tarilers, need pinto hitch, ( city of calgary uses them for emergency use when water mains go down ) when thier up for auction, or get a used three ton with a water tank and make extra money hualing water.
