Default looking at a 09, need some info

I am thinking of trading in my 03 ram for an 09 (SLTwith Hemi).

I tried to get them down on price but they wouldnt budge. They said they were 5K under book. Now I am trying to justify the price difference ($1500 more than I wanted to spend)
The only option I wanted are the 20" wheels and maybe a bedliner. This one has a few more: Hemi, step bars, turn signal mirrors, 110 outlet, remote start, leather/cloth seats.

Are there any known issues to watch out for? I think I had most of the known issues with my current Ram.

Are the MPG's really the same for the 4.7 and the hemi?
Any rust or mechanical issues?
What are the thoughts on warranty? It only has about 6000 left on the bumper to bumper.
Should I opt for an extended warranty?
How can I tell it it has bluetooth? It looked like there was a button for it on the radio.

Any other info you want to share???

I used to own a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 without the HEMI. I traded it in on a brand new 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 with the HEMI. This truck has so much more power than my other truck and it rides very nice. I have not had any problems with mine. I think the 2009 gets better gas mileage then my 2003 did. I have a boat and it definitely pulls it 100% better. You can opt for the extended warranty if it would give you a better piece of mind, 6,000 miles it not much of a warranty in my opinion. The blue tooth button is built in on all the trucks even if it does not have blue tooth, push the button on the radio and it will tell you whether it is equiped or not. It does not come with most of the trucks, unless they are completely loaded.

Did you check Kelly Blue Book to see if they are selling the truck for $5,000 under book. I really doubt they are that low, I would definitely give it a look and make sure to add all the options. I don't think you would regret buying the new Ram!

I just did KBB. It came up to 29,440. They are asking 23,500

They will only give me 8,000 for my truck.

I would go for it, sounds like a great deal to me. They are almost $6000 under blue book, I would also look into an extended warranty. Buy it, you will not regret it!!!

I think it has optional mirrors. They have the turn signal built into the front of them.

Are they wider than the standard mirror or was it my imagination?
I am a little worring about my garage.

Don't worry mirrors fold in if need be. Make sure they have done all the updates. There is a list of them around this forum somewhere. The 09's have a problem with the HVAC actuator door gear assembly thingy. There is a mod out for that. If it has Bluetooth I think the uConnect button should offer setup steps. Since it's an 09 ask if the Lifetime drivetrain warranty is transferable? I think it was only the original owner. But it can't hurt to ask or negotiate it in if possible. And you'll love the Hemi. Good Luck.

$29,440 - KBB is on crack

I paid $26,599 for my 09 2wd crewcab Hemi SLT brand new and currently KBB says it is worth $24,715 with 46K miles on it. Seems like KBB might be a tad off.
