Without the hemi, your in different truck than us. the hemi goes into 4cyl. mode to save gas.4.7 works harder to perform like a pickup. the hemi makes this truck. if I win powerball ill see about boring it to a 6.2 or whatever is in that charger hemi.

Oh yeah. Some one should tell you, 09 hemi has 16 spark plugs that get changed every 30000 mi. About $290 at dealership or 2 hrs in your driveway with socket extensions and those angle knuckles between extensions. And you should really use a torque wrench. I'm at 50000 mi. And still love it. It's been in shop once for axle seals they said needed replacing. I never saw any leaking.

Had a 07 dodge 1500 quad hemi 4x4 traded for a new 09 hemi 4x4 crew cab. Hated it. I didn't like the traction control. Loved the ride. My 07 pulled my 28 foot TT better. 09 got better gas mileage not pulling. 17-20 mpg on highway. Pulling TT it got about 8 mpg. It was a loaded Big horn with DVD and all. Dumped it for a "OLD SCHOOL" 06 dodge 2500 cummins. Not looking back one bit. I got $23,000 for it on trade. They are asking $25,900. I love dodge though just not the new stuff. My 2500 is getting 24-25 mpg Highway and 22 in town. Just my 2 cents.

Will I picked it up this morning. There was a little drama.

When I test drove it I noticed the front tires were cupped so I said I wanted them replaced. I also called the salesman to tell him I wanted to make sure they check which tires were cupped because I saw they they had rotated the tires and aligned it.

When I picked it up they put two new ones on but I noticed the back tires were cupped.
They refused to do anything (at this point I already paid, they had it off to the side so i didnt see it when I walked in). I was concerned about vibration the next time the tires were rotated. They agreed to move them to the front and the salesman tested it out and then I tried it. I only noticed it on fast turns. He said he didnt notice. I made them put them rotate the tires back again and left.

Prior to rotating the tires twice, I offered to pay for half of the cost. They said no. I said if there was an issue I was taking my truck back (not sure if could even do that).

It was at a high colume toyota dealership. I know it is a used truck and I should have caught it but they new about it and didn't say or do anything.

So....
Should they have done anything to correct the situation?

Default 09 dodge

I would make them put the old tires back on if they weren't cupped. Onca a tire starts cupping and gets bad it will not flatten out. It will continue to wear. If it was bad enough.

Is the spare the same size and brand? if so, buy another new one and mount them on the front. Use the cupped tire as a spare and keep the one that was removed

Since it's an 09 ask if the Lifetime drivetrain warranty is transferable? I think it was only the original owner. But it can't hurt to ask or negotiate it in if possible. And you'll love the Hemi. Good Luck.
I have an early build 09 and the only issue I have had other than recall;s and regular updates they get you in for is my drivers heated mirror puked, covered under warranty. I think there are less issues with the 09's than the later models personally just from reading all the issues in here. I could be wrong, On the radio if it has Nav it has bluetooth...look on the bottom right corner tiny letter will say RER...has it all, REN might have bluetooth, look on the rearview mirror there will be a mic, it should have a button on it you can answer the phone with or jjust push the button on the radio if you get a message telling you nothing is paired or asking if you want to pair a phone or some other question you should be good , I don't remember what the actually statement is when it is not there but another thing you can look for is a black box when you open the lowest glove box and squeeze the sides it will open more the box is on the right side kick panel you should be able to see it about 3inches by or so . But if that is all you are worried about I would take the deal especially if you get the lifetime warranty transferred, push for that and try to get them to give you a discount on and extended, I have noticed that they will knock off at least 1500 on the extended warranty, got that off the ram 72month gold extended no deductible and my daughter is in the process of buying a Caliber and she got 2000 off the 3300 price of 84 month extended gold warranty so they are making good money...profit on those extended warranties. I can't think of anything I am missing on my 09 that I would rather have an 11 except for the new radio RHR that will be coming out soon if not already I am not sure, it will have it all plus wireless streaming of music from your phone,ipod,mp3 player as long as it has bluetooth.
