search for a couple posts on the trans schedules. A few guys have posted theirs and their are a few you can start off with. I saved a copy of forum member CarGuyOhio's shift schedule and will reflash to it when the weather warms up a bit. I currently have custom settings for just the trq mgmt set to 6% for full and part WOT and just use the superchips setting for the trans schedule. Can't wait to use a bit more of an aggressive setting since I think the superchips setting is a bit too mild for my driving style. As far a Diablo, I almost went with one but at the time guys were selling theirs due to issues with the trans shifts so I just went with Superchips and use only the 93 octane tune. No regrets.

Yeah i just checked those out and theres quite a bit of awsome information. But i'm still a lil confused as to how the transmission scheadule works. I currently have the diablo but dont have those options.

The biggest thing im wondering is i do alot of towing, and when cruising on 4th gear with my 3.55 gears and 35" tires there are just to say not enough power to stay in gear, so therefore the overdrive keeps kicking on and off and its annoying. Will superchips allow me to modify the shift shedule as in making my 4th gear rev 200-300 more rpms, therefore keeping the torque locked in. (same effect as in changing the gears in the diff). Also what % would dodge set the TM at?

NVM just found answer to my own questions, the shift schedule is adjusted with Throttle Position % and Vehicle Speed. Also i read that when you go adjust the TM, 100% is stock TM. So now did anybody notice a difference with TM modified to say 6%, anybody ever try to tow with superchips?

Sure did, turn ESP off and it will roast the back tires, I have my 1-2 and 2-3 shifts set at 6000 rpm and it has a good fast positive shift and pulls pretty good throughout the shifts. Even more noticeable with a CAI. Only wish you could also adjust WOT shift pressure like you can on the Fords.

I use the "Tow/Haul" button when I'm towing. This changes shift points a bit (giving more engine braking) and disables overdrive... Not sure if this is a standard or optional feature, but it sure makes towing easier...

Yeah i use TowHaul all the time, but im starting to think that its not working like its suppose to. I heard that when TowHaul is engaged it disables the 5th gear and gives you the 2nd prime gear as 3rd. (It has 2 2nd gears, one for accelerating from a stop, 1.67 to 1, the other (prime 2nd) for downshifting. 1.5 to 1. In drive it will start in 1st, 3 to 1, then 1.67 2nd gear, then 1 to 1 third, on to .75 4th gear and .67 5th. Shift it manual, or tow haul, it will go 1st, 2nd, 2nd prime, 3rd, and 4th.)

The thing is i drove the truck to the dealership today actually with a trailer to try and get the code to pop up so they could look at it, and i took it off tow haul, went through all five gears with the shift stick and ended in 5th gear at about 1600 rpms. Then i did the same thing with TowHaul on and ended up in 5th gear with the same rpms. This is why im confused as i thought putting it in Towhaul disables the 5th gear and takes off overdrive, which was obviously there even in tow haul.

Is it my truck thats not working right or i just misunderstood how TowHaul feature works. Maybe ill try and revive the tranny thread

I am just a consumer , so here is my take, the trans tuning is another reason I bought my SUPERCHIPS, it makes the trans act like it is SUPPOSED to, meaning for me , it shifts hard and crisp, i can manually put in ALL the parameters and make that thing shift exactly where I want, but to be honest ,the first time I put it in, I left it in superchips mode, they put the % and the shifts better than stock, but not radical, even my wife noticed the shifts are WAY better with it now, and doesnt usually comment about the truck,I have my rev limiter set to 6150 and it shifts VERY hard when pushed all the way, i will never get rid of it, and get reminded each time I remove it to take it to the dealer how crappy it shifts without it, I have said this many times, I have taken my truck in for MANY RRT's so far and no tuner was detected or cared about, ,all the extras that the tuner comes with is just icing on the cake, gas is so high now, I put mine on stock tune with transmission tune on and top speed limiter off, and revs set up higher,it shifts hard ,revs till 6150 before the shift, and i can use 87 octane if I want to ,till gas goes down.
The customer service for me is top notch, i had to have my PCM replaced for throwinf 02 sensor codes, this code was on many times before the tuner, and the dealer did it with a new one, I was petrified....after talking to the reps for S/C they calmed me down and asked for the reciept of the repairs from the dealer , and they would put my tune back in the tuner,WHAT MORE COULD YOU ASK FOR !!!! at this day and age of NO help it is good to know that service AFTER the sale is still there in this case.
