Default Has anyone tried the Superchips on their 2010 Hemi ??

i have been running the diablo sport for the past couple months and it was ok but def has a couple hiccups that bothered me so i went and bought a superchips today and so far i am floored it has very usable power and torque and seems to drive smoother than the diablo so far. Anyone out there using the Superchips ?? I asked around on Ramforumz but everyone there is Pro DSP haha

Let us all know how the superchips works out when they find the ghost footprints of it in your computor and then need your warranty to pay for a problem. Once they find out you had a tuner box on your truck, bye-bye warranty. Diablo dosent leave any ghost footprints when you put it back to stock to have warranty work done, thats why more people use the diablo.

Ghost footprints are a thing of the past. The dealer can detect ANY change that was made to the truck. The ECM records anything that goes out of the stock settings and stores the data. They have no way of determining what brand programmer you used but can still see it was there. My dealer sells Diablo and Superchips at the parts counter and I have been showed how they detect the change in the ECM. Every time you remove the programmer from the truck it clears the key count and thats the first sign it had one, and Diablo and Superchips do that. If they pull the performance data from the ECM it shows exactly what took place.

I'm sorry to inform you, but you don't know what you're talking about. Superchips does not leave ghost traces behind. I've alpha and beta tested their products for years. I've have tuned back and forth literally thousands of times. After tuning back to stock, I have taken my truck to the dealership on many occasions to upgrade my OEM flash. I've never had an issue. Superchips uses a flash routine that's extremely sophisticated. It builds the flash and totally erases any existing flash, while your stock file is safely stored on the tuner. You are always starting from a clean starting point that won't corrupt the original file. If you tune back to stock, you will have the original file with no chance of traces that may lock up the PCM or cause issues with the original stock file.

Great feedback!

If you eventually decide and upgrade to the advanced trans options, you will be even more floored.

I had a diablo early on as well. I changed as it had issues, glad I did.

Whoa, watch out, the tuner police have arrived...!

I dont believe any of you guys that say they dont leave ghost footprints.
Show the rest of us the proof with facts, not with opinions and forum talk...!
Prove it to all of us with a professional video of your test results using SC & DT...!!!!!!!!!

I`ve had BOTH the SC & DT on my hemi charger,
guess what, the dealership found the SC ghost, but NOT the DT.
We purposly set the car up for testing to be detected for tuners, SC lost..!

I`m not willing to take the chance on the dealer or factory stealing my warranty just for a stupid tuner.
It amazes me how many people are willing to screw themselves just for 10 to 20hp.
I always wait until the warranty period is up before i add any aftermarket products.

End of story
