Sorry for being a smart ***. I guess I can give my 2 cents on the matter. It basically depends on what you have in store for your truck. If you're not going to do any mods and you plan on keeping it for a long time and not trading it in, then it's probably worth a little extra money for the extra coverage. The mechanical failures seem to be kind of random. Nothing too crazy that I've seen. Most of the issues are cosmetic. If you plan on doing any kind of mods to your truck (specifically a lift) then I would definitely pass. Only because I have a feeling that if something was to happen to the drive train, they would try to blame it on the lift. If you can get an extra 2 years and another 64,000 miles for around $800, then go for it brother. That's not really that much money for the coverage you're getting. Not to me anyway. Chances are you're going to have more problems the more miles you get anyway. That's my opinion on the matter. If I wasn't planning on lifting mine, I'd definitely get the extended coverage.
