Engine Light On
'09 1500 4.7L - Over the last month have had several issues including several trips to the dealer. My most recent adventure was replacing the fuel pump.
Three days ago, my engine light came on AGAIN. I have an OBD II scanner, but it will not read the code, it comes up with a link error. Is there a scanner out there that works with newer vehicles. I am tired of paying the dealership 2 hours of labor to determine the codes...

If i remember right, i think AUTOZONE parts stores will still read/retrieve them for free for you.
How many miles are on your truck (???) Has anyone been under the hood recently (tune-up`s..?)
