45,000 miles including about 6 trips from indiana to los angeles... also indiana to the Fl keys and Indiana to dallas, tx 3 times

My truck has never even hesitated.

I did blow out a 24 inch time the last time i was in cali.. but that was my fault... im running these cheap tires too much.

just did my tune up replacing the spark plugs at 40k... seem to run smoother now after the check up.

I cant say anything bad about the reliability of this truck.. and i have an early model 09... by 11 they should have some of the quirks ironed out

I used my 09 to tow a 21ft boat to a few loacal lakes. Lots of steep hills and never had any problems at all. I just traded in my 09 for a 2011 Ram Sport. My Dodge Ram's have never given me any problems. I never think twice before a purchase.

Go for it, you will love it!!

I got my first dodge ram about 6 months/ 6500 miles ago. I have been extremely pleased with my purchase. Only a few minor glitches, i had transfer case output shaft seal replaced and some rrt's done. The battery died once i wasn't driving it alot this winter and it would sit in the garage for weeks without being started. My last chevy was a 2005 silverado 1500 5.3L the only advantage the chevy had was better gas mileage. I have a 3/4 ton hemi with 4.10 gears and get about 15mpg highway 13.8avg and about 10.8mpg towing a 4place snowmobile trailer. I do believe the 1/2 tons with mds and 3.55 gears do considerably better.

Ther`s good and bad in all the trucks made today, most will depend on you.
Drive them all, and then decide with what your willing to live with, or without.
Personally, the looks alone with the new 4th generation dodges is what sold me on it.
Is ther a better truck out there to buy...???..., proabably, but none of us have found it yet.

One things for sure though, if you dodge the father, you can ram the daughter (lol)

How does that work? I would think you would be losing money if you traded an 09 for an 11.

I've had my '09 since June '09. 17,000kms to date. It's around -40 for almost 4 months straight.
Only problem I have had is a broken power steering hose. My '95 gmc has had 9 of them replaced.

Same here, plus a PCM reflash for MDS driveability improvements before I gave up on it and just shut it off, have an early build 09 - Dec 08.

Well I realize that it's simple to trade one truck for another, but I don't know why you would do it on a truck that's only 2 years newer and end up paying another 10-15 thousand bucks probably. If not more. I mean I have a 09, but I don't want a 11 that bad.
