Default Put in new Sprak Plugs

Well it was time for new plugs and it went pretty easy I had done the job before on a 06 ram that I had, so remembered what tools I used. The drivers side was the hardest to do (brake booster) passenger side rear was a little difficult as well. I also went with autolite platinum's.

Sit in the engine compartment to do it? That is how I did my 05 and plan to do my 09.

Just had mine done at dealership, they had a special for $159.00. I figured at 10 bucks a plug and I dont have to do anything that was a steal.

The factory NGK Platiumn plug used in the Durango hybrid and Caliper hybrid with 5.7 which is a 100,000 mile plug can be used. They are a dealer item only so far.

is there only a handful of plugs you can use on a hemi, or can i use aftermarket plugs that give you a bigger spark. just wondering they have so many plugs out there that state they give you a better burn because the way they are shaped.

On G.M. vehicles(my vette for one) there is a TSB out about weird electrical things including charge system not operating correctly as well as engine misfire do to wrong spark plugs. It says they think its plugs with PULSE DURATION what ever that is. I think thats what screws with vehicles that have the HEMI.

Man for 159 I would buy a set for now a a coupon for another set later LOL. So if you use 100,000 mile plugs on a HEMI does it affect the 30,000 mile change schedule? Like I still think you have to change them just as often just because of the fact it is a HEMI?

NO. They are 100,000 plug life. You don't change them but every 100k. Same plug used in the Durango and Caliper 5.7 hybrid.
