Default Seat Rattle

So I had taking my truck to the dealer about 2 months ago for a oil change and the most annoying noise in the world. I had a rattling somewhere in the passenger side. I couldn't replicate the noise without driving and it was a pain to figure out. Well I go to the dealer and on that particular day no rattling... My Luck...

Well I have finally pinpoint the problem. It is the passenger seat. Over bumps, divots, and unsmoothed surface road the seat makes a squeeky rattling noise...

Any of you have/had this problem?

Thanks and Happy St. Pats

If any of the seatbelts don't get put away properly they rattle against the plastic. No problems here with the seat itself.

I had the same problem with mine. I adjusted my seats (I dont have power seats by the way) and I was able to get the creeking noise to go away. I had another rattling noise that seemed to be on the floor right behind my driver seat. I was finally able to fix it. I have steps on my truck and it seemed that where the brackets for the steps attach the truck was causing it. I pulled up on the step a little bit and was able to get rid of the noise. Not sure why it fixed but it did.

Mine has been creaking lately on the passenger side around corners when there is someone sitting there.

2X - Exactly

I know it may be a small problem but it's annoying as hell. I've been waiting for an oil change to have it serviced but can't wait anymore.
I may have the tech show me what he does to fix it so I can do it next time. This will be the second time it's been done.

I've just been waiting for the weather to warm up so I can take a look at it. Seems like there is either something loose or a bushing has poped out/worn out.

Be nice if we could see the full text of the RRT and see what they do to solve it. I'm out of warranty except for the powertrain so the RRTs are not free any more.

I have a clunking behind the drivers seat at times. Pretty sure it is the in-floor storage bin though.

@ NoLimits - I know exactly what you are saying about the seatbelts.

@jawsdc - It is a small problem but really annoying. I actually turn my radio up to drown out the noises.

@ripplek - Thanks for that information... Any more detail like Old Jeep requested I would also be interested in...

Thanks guys for all your input!!!
