Default Why with the dollar even??

With the Canadian and American dollar almost par and in fact some days the C creeps past for a day or so, and yet the only ones who get a deal are the US dealers, they can give out free Hemi's and O percent for 5 years, we rarely see a free Hemi nor do we so more than 3 years at 0 percent anymore. I don't understand why the difference, oh and the price too? I am talking about the RAM by the way. Can someone who is edjumacted more than the 6th grade explain this to me?

Well that might be in the Newspapers and stuff but that is BS. Our economy sucks. My wife now grocery shops in the US (not proud of it but forced too) She is becoming one of those coupon freaks and getting good at it, she get laundry soap free, toothpaste, toilpaper, all that stuff for 1/10 th what we pay. She comes back with the back seat of the crew cab full for 50 bucks. We are gonna need a new house or get on that Hoarders show and let them organize it for free for us LOL, I can fake cry on the camera and tell them I can roll my wheel chair thru all the laundry soap and toilet paper LOL. No really though she is saving a fortune in 3 trips in fact she is gone now. You don't realize the difference in selection and price matching and beating and coupons and saving that you have available to you in the US. We don't have that here. We can't even watch free internet TV the gov blocks it. Need to somehow sign up to US internet?

Hmmm, seems to me this is an easy answer.... Move over the boarder Of course that would mean you need to get a job here. And in Motown that would be a nice trick.

The reason is u guys buy a lot of trucks up there. So if they are able to sell good with no free hemi and no 0% intrest. Then there's no reason to offer deals to get consumers in the door. If you have to come across the border to save money then so be it. There's no shame in that. I call that smart shopping.

I beg to differ. Free Hemi = $1,150 discount.

I bought my Outdoorsman in December 2010 and got over $7,500 discount from Chrysler. I'll take that over a free Hemi any day. Also got 1.99% interest for 3 years.

You got 7G off yours, I got 13000 off mine in 09. Not worried about free HEMI persay I am just wondering why the prices and options and financing is not the same since the dollar is par. I would think the most trucks get sold down south in the US. Canada buys a drop in the bucket as far as Chrysler and GM. We tend to buy what supports us and well that would be all the Toyota plants in the Ingersoll area I believe. So naturally if you can get a great deal on a Toyota cuz you work there stands to reason. GM walked out on us, Ford is trying hard to ,if not for the Canadian made minivan not sure Chrysler would exist. Oh ya we also make the highly poplular Charger and Challenger here in Canda. Although, there is not a truck out there that I would buy over the Dodge even if I did not get discount. I can get 0% for 3 years, but makes for one hell of a payment LOL.
