Dealer programing key fob
I had a key stop working, the derlareship ordered a new one, They are having trouble programing the new key, and now trying to blame it on me becasue I replaced the OEM stereo, saying i voided the warranty of the of the electrical system. I SAY BULLSH!T.. I think they don't know what the hell there doing and are fishing for something to blame it on. Truck is still at the dealership. More to follow:
Yeah the other one still works.. I am home from work sick, so my wife took the truck to the dealership. It is about 45 min away, so she has been stuck there since 9 this morning, has been waiting there for them about 5 hours now. They offered to let her take the trcuck home and schedule something for another day. but that is still with one working FOB. I said no, stay there and make them get this right. We are not happy: still more to follow:
Summary. Last week I stopped by the Dodge dealership, and explained the one of our RKE FOB Keys was not working, (It would lock the doors, and start the truck but would not unlock the truck) I had already tried changing the battery etc.
They could not help at the time so I schedlued an appointment, when I came for the appointment, they confirmed, over an hour later, that "Your key is not working will will have to order a new one".
No ****, I told them that when I came the first time.
So a week later they called and said the new kay had arrived, and I sceduled a new appointment to have the new key programmed.
They could not do it, and tried to blame it on my stereo installation. They called for tech suppport at Chrysler. and 5 hours later; (with my wife waiting there at the dealership the whole time), they finally got the new key programmed.
That is the last time I will ever take my business to Dick Hanna Chrysler Dodge and Jeep.
