Default Will I need leveling kit or lift kit.

I bought set of 22" wheels w/ 305/45/22 tires with negitive offset. (thanks again Snipe your the best). I'm putting on stock 2010 truck. I haven't tried putting on yet. But setting them next to truck looks like I may need to get some extra height. The heavist thing I really haul is 8x10 trailer with two sport quads on it. If I do need leveling kit for front for clearance issues or lift kit. How much of pain in butt to install are they

Thanks, Rummy

Can you post pictures?, Is your truck 4x4? what is the offset of the new wheel? What kind of look are you going for, street truck or 4x4? your tie size sounds like more or less a street tire based on the size. According to this conversion chart: http://www.dakota-truck.net/TIRECALC/tirecalc.html

Your tires are still 33", which would be fine on your truck without lift or level, but your tires are wider than OEM, so I'm not sure if you would have rubbing when you turn the wheel.

I would but the new wheels on and turn the wheel both ways and look to see if yu hae any rubbing. If you need to level your truck you you could either use bilstein adjustable shocks to level or a 2 inch spacer. The spacer is the easiest to install the shocks will require a spring compressor. Ether way, if you have the tools you could have it done in a couple hours. But after you level you will need to go get an allignment done. Some tire shops do alignment as well, so go to one that does they are a lot cheaper than the dealership.
