Sure.

The Hella 500FF's come in a kit and include all of the wiring, splices, crimps, etc. It also comes with the relay and even the switch to mount in the cab (unless you are going to splice them into the factory harness to come on with your fogs/high beams, etc. I didn't do this because of the laws that I described above. They come with a mounting bracket for each light which makes them simple to mount, only had to drill two 5/8" holes in the front crossmember of my truck to mount them. I am not sure if your guys' 09+ trucks have this crossmember directly behind the grill like my 08 does.

The pictures that I posted above shows how the lights are bolted to the crossmember using the supplied hardware.

Here is a picture of the wiring and the relay (which comes in the kit). I wired my relay and switch directly to the battery so that I didn't have to splice into any of the factory wires. The reason for this is so that if I decided to ever take these out, I could simply remove the wiring and have left the factory wiring untouched.

Here is a picture of where I mounted my switch. On my 08, this is where the power pedal switch would be (which obviously my truck does not have). I believe a good spot for you guys would be where the brake controller would go (if you don't have a brake controller) or possibly somewhere on or under the dash. I have even seen some guys build a small bracket to mount the switch so that you don't have to drill the dash of your brand new truck.

I did it this way because on my truck, this little plastic piece is replaceable for about 6 or 7 dollars and it just pops out of the dash which made drilling for the switch incredibly convenient.

Any other questions, just ask.

Thanks for the explaination...

So I'm guessing from that there are no cross members that this will not work on a 2011...

Too bad. Looks bad ***. I really want to add lights, but don't want anything on the front of the truck, and I haven't found any light bars that I like...

I saw pictures on here at some point with someone who had rectangle lights on a 4th gen. I'm sure you could rig something up to the top close to the horn. I thought about doing it at some point.

Sure you can still do it, you will just have to create a mount of your own. A piece of angle iron is easy enough. Paint it black, bolt it in there somehow (I am sure you could figure something out) and mount some lights. It wouldn't be that hard.

Nice. I would maybe go with something a little bigger, but it looks good.

I don't like how on that particular truck, the lights are so close together in the grill. They need to be spread out more to look right... like mine haha
