Default Functional Hoods

I got my Recon lights installed on Saturday, but the high beams were on back order. The ordering through Top Gun Customz hasn't been exactly smooth, but that's not the intention of this post.

Due to some hail damage, I'd like to replace my hood as opposed to fixing the dents. Particularly, I'd like something that is functional with my airaid CAI, and look good at the same time.

I think the Suncoast hood might be a little over the top (and I saw at least one user who was less than satisfied dealing with them). I do like the look of the challenger style hood, but can't find many options on purchasing it.

I'd like to see other options you may have found out there, as well as any sites for purchasing one....looking for a good deal.

There are a couple versions of functional hoods out there. I think the most popular is the Ram Air Hoods (ramairhoods.com). Of the few folks here who have one, I don't think anyone has had any issues. It won't line up with your Airaid though, you'll have to buy their CAI.

As for the Challenger hood, it looks good, but isn't functional. There was a member here at one time that was trying to make it work with his CAI, but beyond the first few photos, I never saw anything past that.
