The only difference between an 2009 and a 2010 with the motor is the compression ratio. Does that make a big difference in MPG.

I think the active intake runners are only on 09+ 1500s and 10+ 2500s

Sorry posted in the wrong section then.

I am still on the fence about this purchase. I guess this truck has a B&W goose neck convertible ball in it, so I was thinking about getting the B&W Companion fifth wheel hitch that drops right into this. It has 6" of movement so you can mount it back further away from the cab. Between that and my extended hitch pin on my camper I should be fine. My camper is 6,000 lbs, and I just want to make sure this truck will pull it and not get 8 mpg. I could live with 10, but 8 would suck.
