I went the Silverstar ultra route too. Big improvement over stock, and they project a cleaner white light instead of that dull crappy orange.

Yeah, mine are very orange. Alright, so I will look into some new bulbs and see what that does, then maybe the adjustment.

As for how to make the adjustment, see post #9 in this thread:

Sylvania Silverstars are always a good improvement over the stockers. Not necessarily more light(unless you go bigger), but much more usable light. You just see things better, thanks to the increased reflectivity of the light.

Projectors and 55W HIDs will fix that issue! (no fogs on for this pic either)

If those things are on dim, you'd better get them aimed right.....

They are on dim.....and are properly aimed with a 3" drop over 25 ft. The light is not in the face of oncoming traffic, the cutoff cares for that (see on both sides where the light abruptly ends).

Sure looks, to me, that it doesn't "end" until it's 3/4 of the way over into the opposite lane. MHO

projectors provide width, I can't see anyone who would not want to be able to see on the sides of the road, if they can! With the cutoff, it stays out of the face of the fellow driver. Difference in this and a regular plug n play kit - it puts the light where its needed.

Here is what my truck (2010 Ram with quad lights) looked like with a plug n play kit

Not really here to be the "guy" who rips on plug n play HIDs - just showing there are better options out there.
