I am going to do the mufflex install myself and then I'll have my exhaust guy install the magnaflow y-pipe and DMH cutout further up near the front of the truck. I think the cutout will sound pretty badass if it's directly after the magnaflow y-pipe.
I went with the 18". Ive heard the 14" to loud for my tastes...very loud drone in the cab. The 18 isnt bad, and the 24 is to quite. Ive heard each in an 09 and 10 ram with factory duel exhaust. I say weld it everytime. The muffler shop down the street did it for $50 bucks. So $100 for the magnaflow 18" and $50 for the weld......cheap and affective. Doing Y next.

Meant to update you guys sooner but I had the 14" mufflex kit installed last week and I am very pleased with the sound. I'm very happy I went with the "aggressive" option because it's far from that..it's just perfect. I like how the factory resonators in the tailpipes help keep the drone to a minimum in the cab. The exhaust cut-out should act as a nice compliment to the modest/refined tone of the 14" mufflex kit.

Yeah I've got the 14 also. Love the sound when you get on it and there's no drone on the fwy. I never welded it and it's still holding together great for over a year now.

I am now over two years and never had a leak! All in how you install.

As for the how aggressive, or not.... It does get louder. I posted this video after the install. It is louder now that it is broke in. (This is a b4 and after)
