Hemi programers
HMMM, so when you buy a truck or car and it says it has 400hp, how do you really know it has 400hp. Do you take it to a shop and have it DYNO tested, I doubt that many people at all take their vehicles and have them tested to see if it is really producing the HP the manufacturer says it is. Sorry, but I want to feel and hear 390hp.... you may find it irrelevant not to feel the 390hp, but I don't.....
1) I would bet several thousand dollars that my truck makes at least 382 at the crank: 390-2% allowance for manufacturing variation. If it didn't Chrysler would get sued and be forced to either buy it back or fix it. As evidence I give you the last of the NA mustang Cobras... they did not make their advertised HP and Ford was forced to either buy them back at the sale price or fix them. Ford went with a retuned exhaust, which freed up more HP. BTW car makers are required by law to publish SAE net HP values, that is what the car makes at the crank, with all accessories including exhaust and a stock intake and filter.
2) You cannot hear Horsepower. You can hear exhaust, but the level of sound has everything to do with the properties of the exhaust system and nothing to do with the HP. My 360 HP G8 was way quieter, but still faster than a 2002 Trans Am... and just as fast, even though it was much heavier. If you could really feel HP then changing gearing which is one way to change the feeling you get when you put your foot down would change your HP. It doesn't. It simply multiplies torque.
3) You cannot feel HP, you can only feel its effect. The effect of HP is acceleration. HP is not a force per say but it is directly proportional to one (HP=force*distance/time*K). F=ma, your truck has a huge m, which you are apparently ignoring, which leads you to the conclusion that as a is smaller than you hoped for F must be too...
Seriously, get a clue. Don't be the Newb who jumps on a forum and starts saying ignorant nonsense.
It is listed as coming soon. Magnacharger makes a system with identical internals to the eforce for the 2009/10s.
I think the E Force will be a little cheaper and it's suppose to be a true bolt on. I've read that one or two people with the Magnacharger are having trouble tuning them correctly and Magnacharger hasn't been much help in that process. I think one was an 09 and the other was a 10. Both Magnacharger kits included a Diablo programmer. This is all second hand information however.

I know of a place that does free installs on magnachargers including dyno tunes. At least they do on G8s and Camaros... will not work on an 11 yet as they need Diablo's tuning software which is not out yet.
And for the record, 390HP is rated at the Crank.
Stand alone Engine stapped to Dyno in a temperature and humidity controlled lab.
If you go for a Dyno run you'll quickly discover a 20% drivetrain loss
and will net you about 315HP at the rear wheels.
If you go mad with mod's like Intake/Bored TB/Custom Tune/Ignition/Cam/Headers/Exhaust...you might get 350HP on a good day.
The only way you'll see 400 is Forced Induction (Supercharged/Turbo) or Nitrous

i've used both the diablo predator and superchips cortex. Other than the the Advance tranny tuning offered by superchips i think the predator is a more solid tuner. You get great tech support that will offer some small custom tunes for free, the datalogging interface is better, and i think the performance on 87 tune is better, and from my preliminary check of the part throttle knock the diablo is better. I still doing some comparing but i have not been impressed by the cortex yet. i have not started to mess with the tranny tuning which is where the superchip shines.
There's several 4G guys with every Bolt-On available already,
and I'm sorry but short of a Stroker kit and ported/polished heads and forged internals, new rods and new springs etc...
...No one remotely close to even 370 with a VVT 5.7L Hemi, yet alone 400 WHP with that Huge 20% drivetrain loss and power-robbing factory Torque Management on the 4G Rams.
MGH with his custom Twin Turbo (tuned to 8psi) setup, put down an impressive 471 WHP on his RCSB AWD 4G though.
The G8's are pretty badd-***, (I'm an ex Pontiac guy myslef...) basically a four door sedan wrapped around a vette motor.
The only time I've shown one of those my Tailgate was in the top photo above (check out the reflection LOL!)
