couple annoyances w/2011, mention to dealer?
Have had my 2011 Big Horn for about six months now and have put about 3k on her. I have noticed a couple things that seem odd, maybe they're normal - this is my 1st Dodge.
1st, when in stop/go and I take my foot of the brake but no gas or very little, the truck surges a bit. My motorcycle will do this if the fuel map isn't right but surprised the Ram does it.
2nd. When stopped I notice a little vibration that comes and goes, don't think it was there six months ago. Motor mounts? Normal for a 5.7 beast?
Thanks,
Jim

Does it surge a little every time or just sometimes? Could be you are using your air conditioner now in the warmer months. This could also be the vibration that comes and goes with the compressor turning on and off. This may also be the surge as the rpm's increase when it comes on.
Just something to check.

I wander around in a lot of different ways - LOL. Yesterday, I walked 25 miles.
I rechecked mileage this morning, and I'm all the way UP to 2440 - LOL
I happen to have several vehicles. My RAM, bicycle, motorcycle, my old truck (I'm trying to drive it a minimum of once a week to keep it alive for my Grandson - in drivers training right now), and my wife's car.
Motorcycle and bicycle being my vehicles of choice, whenever possible.
I also try to avoid wasted trips, combining trips whenever possible, delaying whenever not of any immediacy, and using people power when I can.
Since I'm retired, I don't drive to work - all my driving is for my own "pleasure." (According to my insurance company.)
Yep, it really is the good life - and retirement is the best job I ever had......
It's just nice to have the RAM for whenever I want to drive it.....
p.s. I washed it this morning in the rain, and it's getting a soft water rinse as we speak - 4" so far, this morning, and still comin down - I washed the old truck tooooo. And, my wife's car (first.)
