Default 2010 RAM 2500 Mexican Diesel fuel

Does anyone know for sure that Mexican Diesel fuel can be used in a 2010-2011 RAM 2500 Laramie? Our local dealer says yes, but I am skeptical.
Thanks for any info.

You can run Wesson in your CTD at a pinch. Diesels are fine with a huge range of fuels as long as they are more oily than gasoline. The only three provisos are that they not gel below ambient temperature, they not destroy the rubber parts of the fuel system and they not contain water.

A couple of questions to ponder. Are the Ram diesels sold in Mexico equippted with the emmisions required for the U.S.? If they are Does Mexico refine ultra low sulfur diesel fuel. High sulfur could damage your particulate filter. I do Know the diesel sold in Mexico years back had a very high parafin content and your truck needed extra filtration to keep from plugging up the injectors. I don"t know if that's the case today. stopped buying Mexican diesel years ago

The trucks and engine are the same, but only qcab short bed, and 3500 chassis, diesel fuel I thinki I'm not sure is bought from the US at least in the north, as well as gasoline.
