Hello everyone. I installed the Lockpick v4 today and have some questions. One, the factory backup camera video quality went down south big time. The option to turn it on while you are driving doesn't work either. Any body have this problem or know anything about this? Thanks.

 

did u try firmware upgrade? did u click uconnect button twice?

 

I haven't tried to update it yet. I will try that. Is that what you had to do?

 

just got the lockpick 4 in the groupsale, for $169. Did you resolve the cam issues? Can i update firmware before installing, just in case?

 

I got mine from the groupsale as well. I have not had a chance to try and upgrade it yet. The camera still works but the color in the picture is kinda washed out. All other functions work that I can tell so far. The on screen speed for the navigation is locked in at 0mph now. That is the only thing I can tell that I lost with the upgrade aside from the video quality on the backup camera.

 

on screen speed? didnt even know that the nav system displayed speed? will have to try that

 

It shows on the rhb (430n) garmin nav unit.

 

I just installed the lockpick on my DGC and the rear cam is also fuzzy and the Navi displays 0 MPH when in motion. Will the upgrading if from version V4 SW REV1.1z help clean up the cameras image? I understand that the 0 MPH may be a side effect of the video in motion.

 

goodluck on the lockpick, It fried my wireless controller twice after it worked for several months. Luckily my dealer fixed it under warranty but disconnected it, no problems since.

 

My rear view camera video quality is very bad now. Is there any way I can fix this issue... please let me know!!!
