Default Cooper Zeon mileage

How are they holding up? put a set on my truck last december and now about 11,000 miles later they are already at 6mm. do drive alot of gravel but still should last longer than 20k. tires are almost as much of a rip off as gas these days.

What pressure are you running them at. I would think that a 50,000 mile tire should last longer than the 20k you are going to get out if them. I just got a set put on my truck and im running them at 45psi. Hopefully I get more miles out if them then you so or I will be very disappointed that I spent as much as I did on them.

I had them on my 3rd Gen and I loved them
mind you I only got about 6-7months (12000 miles) out of them
before I sold the truck but at 40PSI they were all even
wear patterns and had loads of tread left and I work
construction so they regularly saw off road conditions.
Plus I beat that truck pretty good, tires spinning all the time w/4.56rear end
mine were 275/55R/20

Very popular tire with the 3rd Gen crowd, especially those with 20" wheels. I know a member (although I haven't seen him active on here in a while) who lives local to me who has a set, I'm thinkin' 275/55/20s also. Last I saw him was about 2 months ago we were comparing tires and he was sitting right at about 30k on his. A good bit of wear on his tread but have worn very evenly. He can probably squeeze another 10k out of them. He was bi*ching that at 35k miles my Cepeks looked barely worn at all. Of course I had to remind him that his tires were $180 a tire and mine were over $300 (or would have been if I didn't know someone in the tire biz) , so I better get more life out of them, LOL...

I have them on my 09 and have about 20k on them and they still have really good tread left. I also rotate them about every other oil change. Tires are like anything else. Some people have better luck than others. I used to run BFGs on my old truck. I got like 45-50k miles on them where i have talked to others that only got around 30-40k on them.

10K on mine and the rears have about 40-50% tread left. I drive hard as hell. Getting ready to rotate them as this oil change. 38psi

Tires are funny things in how they vary. I have a buddy with a 2001 1/2 ton Suburban that puts on BFG All Terrains and gets 65K out of them. On his wife's 3/4 ton 'burban (2007?) they get just over 35K on the same model tires (diff size and load range though). I don't think she drives much different. On my Ram my stock Goodyears are at 20K now and I predict they won't see 35K. I'll definitely have to replace them before winter here in MN regardless of how many miles they have by then.

The Zeons are on the top of my list for replacements. They seem to have good reviews regarding ride quality, off-road capability (compared to stock all-seasons, not to true off-road tires), aren't real noisy, and can be had for a decent price. Besides that, they look rugged. For me, tires have to perform solidly, but looking good is also a factor.

I'm still watching for the Mills Fleet Farm 'buy 3 get 1 free' sale...
