Just sold my 07 ram and picked up a 2009 Laramie 5.7, First on the list in cai and exhaust, I dont see any write up In the DIY pgs for this, seen lots in the 3rd gen forum, is there any write ups on how to build one yourself with exact measurements and all that? See some on ebay for 80 bux should i just pick up one of these? Thanks guys ...Pics to come soon

Dont get one of those piece of crap ones from ebay... If you are going to get one that works, you will be spending a couple hundred. Look for MOPAR, AFE, Airaid, etc.... You get what you pay for.

 

I have a true flow XDI that i replaced with an afe. i dont notice any difference between the 2 intakes performance wise but afe is more k&n style filter where the xdi is foam. the xdi looked pretty cool and beefy under the hood. since the xdi is laying around, may i mention it could be up for sale ?

 

I had an ebay one on my last truck with no problems...what im really lookin for is a DIY to build one.
