Hemi tick exhaust manifold or normal?
I have 2009 2500 ram I just bought it, and was wondering if I have a bad exhaust manifold gasket or stud. I have read about the hemi tick, and I don't think that is what this is. It is only on the driver side. It is hard to hear in the video you can hear it most at the end of the video. I am taking it in tomorrow to see what can be done. By the way I have a 18" magnaflow muffler on it so that kind of is drowning out the tick a little.

I know I have a 3rd gen body, but my hemi is a VVT 4th Gen 383 hp 400 torque. I have the build sheet from Dodge. I figured since I have the new VVT motor this would be where to post this.
Is that not correct?
Thanks

I know it kind of sucks.
I wish I could get a better video. It sounds like a ticking sound on the driver side right under the floor board, and in the wheel well. The best I can hear it in the video is at the very end when I went back to the drivers side.

Yes, but I really notice it when there is a load on the motor from 1,000 rpm up to 3,000 rpm with the driver side window down. I don't hear it on the other side.
Maybe it is just normal I have only owned Dodge cummins diesel trucks before. After my nightmare of a 6.7, I had to get rid of it quick so I bougth this Hemi as I don't pull near as big of loads as I use to or as often.
I had to put over $5,000 of my own money in my 6.7 turbo issues, egr, dpf, G56, clutch. This is even after I deleted it at 3,500 miles.
Sorry for the rant, anyways back to my hemi worry
