Default Engine oil cooler for a 2009 5.7 HEMI?

I'd like to add an engine oil cooler. Everything I find is either a tranny cooler or someone calling the tranny fluid cooler an engine oil cooler.

I've run thermostatic sandwitch plates before but was looking for something like the stock LS engine bolt on block for oil coolers.

Just driving around I get 220 for oil temps and my trailer makes it jump up from there.

Wonder why you run at 220? My engine oil temp indicator never goes over about 205 even when temps out are 110...

Please forgive me...I must be seeing things, lol! Have you tired TD or Canton, not sure if Canton universal with work with Mopar or if that's what you're looking for. But I wouldn't mess with it till I found out what was going on. I have another idea but I'm gonna send you a PM about calling some builders for this one...I don't wana get arrested by the PO P0 on here, lol! I sent you a PM, check your inbox and good luck!

This is what my LS1 would use:

This is a sandwich plate:

The benefit of some of the sandwich plates is that they can have a thermostat in them so you aren't pumping cold oil all of the time.

Looks pretty cool, what's the difference between the two and why not a an adapter? Looks to serve the same purpose to me...is there something else to it? I doubt that you find one like that for a gen 111 hemi unless it's custom made. What about Indy, they make their own oiling systems for big blocks, don't know about the small blocks or gen 111...just a thought.

When driving around town its between 200 and 210 but when towing trailer 7500# it ranges between 220 and 250. I have been useing synthic oil and it start to get valve noise after 2000 miles but with the temp getting up there I don't want to use regular oil.

Put a 180 stat on it. That will drop the water temps by 20 degrees and the oil should drop by the same margin. Autozone part number 4128 for the 180 stat.
