I scheduled service on my truck and told them I thought the front end had something loose up there. They told me the left tie rod had a lot of play. They replaced it and told me they would do the toe but should do the rest of the alignment and they would only bill me half. If they are going to recall these, they should do both sides and they should just do the whole alignment. What would that take for Chri$t sake. 10 more minutes?
I agree. The style of the truck is top notch, ruined by all the other crap. I still laugh at the Dodge Ram Challenge show they had.....

Well next up is to get in and have my rotors turned so I don't get the pulsing on the off ramps.....

@ moosefire66. You're right I am a dumb *** for buying this junk. Don't blame the supliers for improper installation. This keeps up and our trucks will be worth nothing. So get mad if you want but you know I'm telling the truth.

So whos palm print is in my paint the supliers. I was just naming off some problems but if u want the ones the retards at dodge did I can name them,or you can go out and look at your truck and see them. These are my problems.Weather striping coming off, palm print in paint, water leaking in from center break light from improperly installing gasket. What are your problems? And I know you have them. By the way the last time i checked i wrote the check to dodge, not the suplier it's there job to make sure the parts are good before they install them. So I paid dodge I blame dodge. I'm back quiet.

Just wondering if anyone here can comment on what changed from 2006 to 2007 in regards to this recall? I do not recall seeing any changes etc, between those years that would make the 2006's not affected.

Thanks!

Chrysler changed the design of the steering...so they say. It's my guess that they changed the manufactor of the materials to save money and it back fired on them. I remember a guy here on the DF claiming that he had this problem and they repaired it but gave him a hard time. Only this guy had to have it repaired three times and was threatening a law suit fearing for the safety of his family.

I saw the post that you originally wrote and removed...or someone did. Is this what we have to look forward to from our Chrysler reps and dealers...which one do you work for? The first time I went in to take care of my RRT's, they fixed two out of five and told me to make an appointment for the other three. Later on down the road I came in to make the appointment and found that the other three had mysteriously disappeared. I had also asked them to check a leak I had coming from the tranny pan. They tried to tell me that I needed a fluid change at 30k miles anyway and offered me a discount but I declined. I later on found out that I don't have to change it until 120k miles unless I frequently trailer or tow. I bought it in Feb 09 and that was a while back and I have have 28k miles on it today. When they told me that I had no more RRT's I told them to check the forums and see for themselves. They replied that they don't go to the forums and don't know of any RRT's or problems and that they have seen only a few come in. Yet here you are and two others as well...are you here representing Chrysler or are you here as personal owners? Bottom line is, this guy has every right to complain and he has every right to be here and he doesn't have to leave unless DF tells him to. He doesn't get discounts like you do, nor does he get a free vehicle. And he definately doesn't get service like you do, and though I like my truck...neither do I. My dealer seems to be nice, but they've done nothing but lie and decieve me. People come here to share their experiences with their purchase, both good and bad for the benifit of others. What ever part of Chrysler you work for needs improvment because of people like you. That's why they suck, they have no clue of how to deal with public relations and you are a prime example of it. Maybe I'm wrong about all of this but I know what he feels like. Those "Built Ram Tough" commercials ain't looking to good right now...wonder how many law suits it took to get the recalls going?

I have a 99 1500 and a 09 1500. I've had 4 recalls between the 2 of them. The bolts on the hitch for the 99, the tailgate lid, backkup sensor and something I don't remember for the 09. Yep, sounds like HUGE problems there!!! Friend of my just bought a F150, when the front end shook so bad that it started hopping, the dealer told him it was because of the after market lug nuts he was using.

Every manufacture is the same. Go buy a Range Rover, each one has a average of 140 recalls, that will give you something to complain about!
