HAve you updated it to the Android 2.1? The Android 2.1 was working well and I had not issues with mine (my wifes) untill updating to the Android 2.2 and now the phone book does not download.
Have you tried to do a reset by removing the battery for about a minute or so then putting it back in. Also I have seen a phone do some strange things if you have a lot of stored txt messages and conversations in it. If you do, try deleting them and see if this works.
Also what is your DOM? If it's prior to April 18, 2011 you'll want to get the Uconnect SW update done.
I have 2.2 android...but my truck was made 11/10....how do I update...the site for mygig said there was no updating my radio cause it was made by mitubishi?

You have 2 choices here
1) you can go to the dealer and have them do the Uconnect update for TSB 08-036-11
or you can
2) go to this link-- http://www.challengertalk.com/forums...55/index3.html and go to reply # 25. I have had the help of mrjeep to post the update on a hosting site where you can download it to a flash drive (or a thumb drive) and then follow the posted instructions on reply #25. Just know that with the Android 2.1 the phone book downloaded but something in the Adroid 2.2 is keeping it from downloading. I have sent Samsung this information and I am waiting on a reply from them.

for those of you that have found that you have SW level 43.1.30 in your vehicle, hang tight a few. I was given an update for that SW and am currently testing it. (looks promising) I will have mrjeep host it for you to DL soon.

Ok, here's the information for the 43.1.30 SW update (it is also located at this link: http://www.jeeppatriot.com/forum/showpost.php?p=322933&postcount=1

2) Download the file:
For US mid-large vehicles (Wrangler, Durango, Grand Cherokee, Town & Country van, RAM), download this file
For US small vehicles (Compass, Challenger, Patriot, Caliber, 200) download this file

For Euro large vehicles, download this file
For Euro small vehicles, download this file

3) Put this file onto an empty usb drive

4) Plug the usb drive into the vehicles remote USB port (NOT on the radio). It should be either in the center console or glove box

5) Press and hold the Uconnect Phone button for approx. 15 seconds, until you hear Software Update started

6) Wait until the update is completely finished (about 10-15 minutes or so) During this update, the radio will beep over and over (you can turn this down with the volume ****). If after about 5 minutes you hear "This file archive not compatible with this vehicle," than either you used the wrong download, OR your radio does not currently have an update available

Hey rocky5, This update is for 2011 vehicles with the RHB, RBZ, RES & REQ radios. If you have 1 of these radios then yes it will work.
