Then the remote starter won't work and it will say hood is ajar on the EVIC.
I lost mine in the middle of winter. Had to stick a screw through the ting to hold the plunger down. To hell with going out and manually start it. I am spoiled like that ya know.....
can anyone post a picture of the exact location? I can’t seem to find it. It’s probably right in front of my face but I don’t see it.
my push to start is also not working due to a “hood ajar” message

You need to Google year, make, model hood ajar switch. This thread is 13 years old.
